Uptown Entertainment is the parent company to the Birmingham 8, Palladium 12, and Ren Cen 4 theatres with locations in Birmingham and downtown Detroit, Michigan. Uptown Entertainment offers unparalleled event services in a unique setting and is dedicated to faithfully providing our guests with the best in service, sight, sound and seating. Special features of Uptown Entertainment theatres include Sony Digital Cinema 4K projection, RealD 3D technology, stadium seating, Dolby Digital surround sound, and wall-to-wall curved screens. Fresh concessions include Little Caesars Super Slice Pizza, gourmet coffee, preferred ice cream treats, and much more.

Our Premiere Entertainment Auditorium is located within the Palladium 12 theatre where guests will enjoy the ultimate movie going experience. This executive style theatre is furnished with over sized, leather, Tempur-Pedic cushioned seats with attached side tables. Adjoining the Premiere Entertainment Auditorium is a reception room for meetings, corporate events, or birthday parties.

Uptown Entertainment invites you to host your corporate meeting, seminar or private party at any of our three locations. With theatres ranging from 50 to 370 seats, and catering provided by our on site Executive Chef, our guests experience the finest of everything to ensure their comfort and enjoyment. Full bar service is available for private events at all locations. At Uptown Entertainment, we offer superior service with attention to every detail.

Reserving a private theatre gives you the opportunity to choose from the latest movie release playing in our theatre or watch an old-time favorite of your own! Alternative formats such as DVD, Blu-Ray, and 35mm are available. Please check with our booking agent for details.

Catering

Uptown Entertainment offers on-site catering and full bar service for all private theatre reservations at all three theatre locations. Whether you request simple coffe/tea service with bagels/muffins or a more formal sit down or strolling dinner menu, our on-site Executive Chef is able to prepare your food/beverage selections with the utmost creativity and culinary decadence to meet your taste and budget.

Event packages are available with a variety of selections and are only a snap-shot of what our catering staff is capable of preparing for your special event. Food and beverage options to compliment a "theme" are just a few of the many choices you will have when making your culinary selections as you plan for a memorable entertaining experience.

The Birmingham 8, Palladium 12, and Ren Cen 4 have individual theatres ranging in size from 50 to 370 seats. Exclusive event accommodations up to 2500 guests at the Palladium 12 are also available.
